The Face Match API is a tool used to determine whether two images belong to the same person. By comparing the two images, it provides a ratio of similarity and a match percentage to help verify if the images are of the same individual.

You can use the API by uploading two images or providing URLs for the two images you want to compare. Optionally, you can set a threshold value between 0.05 and 0.95 to determine the minimum match percentage required for a result to be considered true.

The API returns the following:

• Verified: True or False, indicating whether the images match.

• Message: A description of whether the verification was successful or not.

• Match Percentage: The percentage of similarity between the two images.

The threshold value helps you set the sensitivity of the match. If the match percentage is greater than or equal to the threshold, the result will be True; otherwise, it will be False. This allows you to adjust the API's precision based on your needs.

Face Mask Detection is a feature developed by Signzy to identify whether a user is wearing a mask or not during remote onboarding processes. It uses facial landmarks to detect mask usage and provides a confidence score to indicate the accuracy of the detection.

The Face Mask Detection process follows these steps:
